2027: Jaji Backs Tinubu-Shettima Ticket, Predicts APC Triumph


The Member representing Kaura Namoda/Birnin Magaji Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Dr. Aminu Sani Jaji, has described the re-nomination of Vice President Kashim Shettima as the running mate to President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu for the 2027 presidential election as a milestone that signals victory for the All Progressives Congress (APC) at all levels.

In a statement issued by his Media Aide, Jamilu Iliyasu Birnin Magaji, Dr. Jaji said the President's decision reflects his confidence in Vice President Shettima's loyalty, competence and invaluable contributions to the implementation of the Renewed Hope Agenda.

Dr. Jaji, who also leads the Jajiya Political Movement nationwide, said his movement had already endorsed the Tinubu/Shettima ticket ahead of the 2027 general elections, described the partnership as a winning combination that Nigerians would renew with their mandate.

He said, "The re-emergence of His Excellency, Vice President Kashim Shettima, GCON, as the running mate to His Excellency, President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, for the 2027 presidential election is a milestone that signals victory for the All Progressives Congress at all levels."

According to him, the President's decision was a deliberate recognition of the Vice President's unwavering support, loyalty, competence, experience and significant contributions to governance since the administration assumed office in 2023.

Dr. Jaji noted that retaining the Tinubu/Shettima ticket would ensure continuity in governance and enable the administration to consolidate ongoing economic reforms, security initiatives and social intervention programmes.

He added, "On behalf of myself, the good people of Kaura Namoda/Birnin Magaji Federal Constituency and the entire Jajiya Political Movement across Nigeria, I extend our sincere appreciation to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for the confidence reposed in Vice President Kashim Shettima through this re-nomination."

The lawmaker expressed confidence that Vice President Shettima would continue to demonstrate dedication, commitment and exemplary leadership in supporting President Tinubu's administration and advancing national development.

Dr. Jaji also congratulated the Vice President on the re-nomination and prayed for Almighty Allah to grant him greater wisdom, strength and good health as he continues to serve the nation.

He reaffirmed that the Jajiya Political Movement remains fully mobilised to support the Tinubu/Shettima ticket and work towards delivering victory for the APC in the 2027 general elections.

The SARMAAN Project has reached 15.76 million unique children aged 1–59 months across ten northern states in Nigeria between 2024 and 2026, administering over 26 million doses of Azithromycin in targeted interventions aimed at reducing preventable childhood illnesses and deaths.
